Hezbollah for Truce with Israel

Israel-Hezbollah war came to a new turn on Tuesday with Hezbollah offering a negotiated ceasefire without any pre-condition even as Israeli forces made new incursion in Lebanon amidst claim by Israel that the designated new Hezbollah chief too, had been eliminated.
News organisations reported that Hezbollah deputy leader Naim Qassem, in a televised speech, said that he is for a truce.
Israel, meanwhile, has come to nearly confirm that its airstrikes in the recent past has eliminated Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Hashem Safieddine, a top Hezbollah official, was believed to have been replacing Nasrallah. Nasrallah had been killed by Israeli strikes.
