Flush floods wreaked misery in the many places in Polan and Czech Republic on Monday while central Europe went through post-flood situation. The flooding due to heavy rain is said to be worst in the last two decades there.
Heavy rains had been lashing over border areas of Czech Republic and Polan since the last week, which made water rise up, bridges collapse, and houses destroyed, vehicles washed away. News reports have put the death toll at 17.
The city of Ostrava in Czech Republic was flooded on Monday. Hundreds of people were evacuated to safe places.
