Harris is the official nominee for the Democrat camp against Trump

Kamala Harris is now the official nominee of the Democrats for the post of the U.S. President in the presidential election. Harris was the sole candidate. Over 4000 party delegates joined a party convention in Chicago and finalise her name. She would be contesting against Republican Donald Trump, whose campaign is already in full swing.

Harris already had the endorsement of most of the Democratic leaders even before the Chicago convention, and her candidacy for the top U.S. post was nearly confirmed. In fact, her graph during the last few days has reportedly gone up and Democrats and many general voters are confident of her suitability for the top post.
