Greece has planned to spend 20 billion euro ($22 billion) for the coming years until 2035 on incentives like cash benefits and tax breaks to arrest declining birth rate, news organisations have reported.
The fertility rate of Greece today is just 1.3, which is lowest in Europe. At present, Greece spends one billion euros on pro-child measures.
