French President Emmanuel Macron, after series of explosion allegedly caused by Israel on the communications devices used by Hezbollah members of Lebanon, has asked Lebanon and Israel to exercise restraint. France had been largely silent on the Isarel-Palestine-Lebanon war so far.
Meanwhile, a United Nations committee has accused Israel of severe breach against a global treaty to protect child rights. A large number of Palestinian children, over 11,000 of them, have been killed in the Israel-Hamas and Israel-Hezbollah war during the last one year. The Thursday’s attack on the mobile communications devices too killed some children and injured a large number of them. Israel, however, maintained that the treaty did not apply to the Gaza situation.
