Gaza war differences between Israel and France became all too visible when some French fans booed the Israeli national anthem at a Nations League game in France on Thursday, news organisations have reported. Minor scuffles too were reported.

The incident took place at Stade de France when boos and whistles were heard during the playing of the Israeli national anthem.  Israeli fans too were reported to have waved yellow balloons and chanted "Free the Hostages" in reference to compatriots held by Hamas militants, according to news reports.

France has been in friction with Israel’s continued offensive in Gaza which has caused massive loss of civilian lives and destruction of property, rendering hundreds and thousands homeless and hungry. French President Emmanuel Macron had even put a stay on supply of weapons to Israel to be used in Gaza war.
