London’s Somerset House, which houses major art collections, caught fire on Saturday, making authorities deploy the services of 25 fire engines and 125 firefighters. Somerset House is a former royal palace, situated on the banks of the River Thames in central London. It now is home to art collection, and cultural and entertainment centre. "Owing to a fire in one small part of Somerset House, the site is currently closed," Somerset House said in a post on X.
