Elon Musk Provided $200 million in PAC for Trump to Win

Tech billionaire Elon Musk reportedly provided around $200 million in PAC to help elect Trump, according reports by media organisations referring to a report by global news agency Associated Press, suggesting how far a business organisation can go to influence an election outcome.

A political action committee (PAC) in the United States, is a tax-exempt organization that pools campaign contributions from members and donates those contesting election.

As per AP report, Musk’s contribution through PAC endorsing Trump’s campaign targeted the first-time voters.

Trump’s campaign spent money on national ad campaigns to target demographics that Democrats controlled and dominated. The plan worked wonder in the seven battleground states, namely Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
