United States’ Department of Education has announced freezing of $2.3 billion federal funding to Harvard, one of world’s leading universities.
The announcement came after Harvard on Monday took a stand to go against some demands of President Donald Trump’s administration, which the varsity management said, would have ceded control of the varsity to the State.
The varsity campus had in the past witnessed pro-Palestine protests, which the government looked upon as antisemitism.
