France-based global news agency, Agence France-Presse (AFP), on Saturday said that it detected a cyber attack on its IT system on Friday. The agency said, its still unknown as to who did it and why.
In August, France had to grapple with more than 140 cyberattacks when Olympic games were going in in Paris, though none of them could disrupt the world sports event.
The AFP, however, said that its technical team is working on the incident and its news services continue to provide news coverage across the world.
