China warns U.S. against South China Sea territorial issue with the statement: “... will never have any patience”

China will “crush” incursion of any foreign nation into its sovereign territory including in the South China Sea, a senior military official of China said on Thursday, reported news organisations. China is following an increasingly assertive policy in the disputed maritime regions, including the South China Sea. Earlier, America and China have already exchanged heated words over the subject.

A few weeks ago, Chinese vessels engaged in a series of high-profile confrontations with Philippine ships in the waters, reportedly planned, attacking them with water cannons. China claims the waters as its own, though international court rulings say the otherwise.

Chinese Army, interacting with a group of journalists at the Xiangshan Forum, said: “We hope that the South China Sea will remain a sea of peace,” news organisations reported. The Chinese Army also warned that the U.S. should not meddle with the issue or “Chinese People’s Liberation Army... will never have any patience”.
