China tested Inter-continental Ballistic Missile in Pacific Ocean

China on Wednesday successfully tested an inter-continental ballistic missile into the remote Pacific Ocean. The test was carried out by People’s Liberation Army of China Rocket Force, which said that the test was a "routine arrangement” and was not directed at any country or target, news organisations have reported.

The act of China, however, has left the international community, particularly the neighbours, concerned about their safety as well as left them apprehensive of China’s nuclear build-up. The inter-continental ballistic missile was loaded with a dummy warhead for testing, though such missiles have the facility of carrying nuclear weapons.
