China-India Start Implementing Agreement to End Border Dispute

China and India have started implementing the agreement to end dispute at their borders in Himalayan region, news organisations reported on Saturday. According to reports, the two nuclear power nations have started pulling off military build up at the borders.

Both the nations confirmed of their actions on Friday and expected that the process will be completed by the end of this month. "According to the recently agreed solution between India and China, their frontline armies are implementing relevant work, with smooth progress so far," news agency Reuters said quoting Lin Jian, a spokesperson for China's foreign ministry.

A day before the BRICS Summit in Russian city of Kazan began on October 22, the two nations had announced striking a deal to end their border dispute. Then, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met in Kazan on the sidelines of the Summit, following which the process to implement the agreement had started.
