Bangladesh ousted PM to face murder case

Bangladesh ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is to now face a murder case. A case has ben filed against her and six others over the death of one Abu Sayed, a grocery owner, which sparked outrage and anti-government protests that saw many deaths and eventual ousting of the Bangladesh PM.

Ms Hasina is now in India. Her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy has said that Ms Hasina will return to her country once the elections are announced. At present, Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus is heading an Interim Government in Bangladesh. However, situation there is yet to be normal.
