Australia on August 26 brought a legislation that gives workers and employees to ignore unnecessary out-of-hour contact from employers. The employees can simply refuse to connect any effort of the employers, their bosses to contact them when they are not on duty hours. This legislation of the Australia is supposed to bring balance between work and personal life, law-makers believe. This legislation enables employees refuse to read message or respond to it, when they are not on work hours, unless that refusal is “unreasonable”. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese praised the reform pushed through by his government. "We want to make sure that just as people don't get paid 24 hours a day, they don't have to work for 24 hours a day," newspapers quoted him as saying.
