Israel Hamas-Hezbollah war has now entered a phase where normal fights are no longer valued, but aim is to directly eliminate the super-boss, as has been done by Israel in the last days with Hamas chief Ismail Haniyen, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, and most recently Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind.
Taking a leaf out of Israel’s war-plate, Hezbollah fighters today targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Caesarea home with a drone, making Netanyahu term it ‘agents of Iran tried to assassinate me’.
No one however was hurt, but unconfirmed reports claimed a house was hit, though no sirens sounded. Netanyahu said that those behind the attack ‘made a bitter mistake’, according to reports in the media.
The drone fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon exploded in the central seaside town of Caesarea early on Saturday, and Prime Minister Netanyahu’s private home was on target, according to Times of Israel, quoting Netanyahu’s office. The premier and his wife were not present when the incident took place.
On Saturday evening Netanyahu said in a statement, as quoted by Times of Israel: “The agents of Iran who tried to assassinate me and my wife today made a bitter mistake.” He said the attack would not deter him from continuing the war, and that anyone who harms Israelis will pay “a heavy price.”
